Auction of Rare Scandinavian Design Finds Begins Next Month

If you're a regular Curbed.com reader, it won't come as a surprise: We're big fans of Scandinavian design. An upcoming online auction, hosted by Chicago auction house Wright, is basically a Scandinavian Design-lover's dream, with unique pieces by renowned designers like Arne Jacobsen, Finn Juhl, Jens Quistgaard, Hans Wegner, and more. From design objects—like a set of nine bird sculptures by Jacob Hermann—to elegant furniture—like a Hans Olsen chair with an asymmetrical, rounded back—there's something for everyone with some extra cash to burn. There will be minimum bids for items on this roster—so folks are not likely to walk away with screamin' deals—but there are some less expensive gems to be had.

The auction begins at noon Central Standard Time on Tuesday, November 5th. To view the full list of items on offer, and for more information, head on over to Wright's website.
