D.C.'s Most Expensive Home on the Market Just Found a Buyer

Over in Washington, D.C., the most expensive sale of the year so far (excluding multi-unit residential developments) is the Fessenden House, which, with an asking price of $22M, was hailed as the most expensive home on the market by UrbanTurf. The previous owner of the seven-bedroom, 11-and-a-half-bathroom home was Samuel Lehrman, whose family co-founded the Giant supermarket. Some of the most stunning features of this home include its wine cellar and tasting room, half-size sports court, and outdoor pool and poolhouse.
