With gorgeous views like this, we'd never leave home. Designed by local firm JW Architects, this Seattle contemporary features pretty awesome views of nearby Lake Washington, to the east of the city. Dubbed the Leschi Dearborn House, after the clients that commissioned it, the house is comprised of a series of stacked volumes clad, alternately, in metal panels and strips of cedar. The open-plan living spaces center on the kitchen, which is dominated by a gorgeous, thickly-veined marble island. In fact, marble is a big theme throughout, including in the swanky master bathroom upstairs. Check it out!
