Let's hope that real architects aren't actually this meticulous when they're mixing their drinks (in fact, let's hope that nobody is even half this meticulous about, well, basically anything besides constructing buildings) but The Architecture of the Shot by Paul Knorr and architectural planner Melissa Wood, which creates architectural blueprints for different types of shots is surprisingly fun—along with the highly specific measurements, they provide some background on each drink. And the good thing is, if you follow the recipe and you're off by a milliliter or so, the whole thing doesn't come crashing down.
