In a real life heist reminiscent of Ocean's Eleven, someone (or multiple someones, if it was a really good heist) has stolen a valuable Frank Lloyd Wright-designed chair from the Price Tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The building itself was also designed by Wright, and is the famous architect's only skyscraper (and one of his two realized high-rises, along with the Johnson Wax Headquarters). "No one was hurt or anything like that," a Bartlesville Police Department inspector said.
The chair really is quite valuable, too—two similar chairs from the Price Tower apparently sold for $10,160 and $11,250 in December 2014, and another one is currently asking $65,000, though you have to imagine that the black market price for the stolen one will be considerably less than that.
