Wasserman Projects Up and Running in Detroit

Wasserman Projects, a brand new gallery at Detroit's Eastern Market, debuted its 5,000-square-foot display space with a pavilion by Miami Beach architect (and 2014 Curbed Young Gun) Nick Gelpi and New York City-based painter Markus Linnenbrink. Detroit artist Jon Brumit planned the new gallery's first outdoor installation, that includes something Wasserman Projects calls a "sonorous grain silo." Founder Gary Wasserman has big plans for the bold new space, including interactive art, concerts and opportunities for visitors to see how art is made by checking out the gallery's 2,000 square-foot "process" area.
