The Facade of This Angular Japanese House Lacks Windows, Is Still Pretty Great

Though visually appealing, the facade of this Tokyo house, designed by architectural firm Artechnic, suggests a rather dark and gloomy interior. However, photos from inside the home reveal that that is not the case, thanks to a glass-walled, open upper floor. The architects explain, according to Dwell, that "the angle of the shell allows for more natural sunlight as well as a sense of openness."
