Alta's Snowboarding Ban Will Get Another Day in Court

In case you thought the hottest upcoming Equal Protection case was going to be Fisher v. University of Texas' return to the Supreme Court, the snowboarders fighting Alta's ban successfully convinced the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals to hear their case. Wasatch Equality, the group of snowboarders fighting the ban, argues Alta Ski Area's ban on boarders violates the 14th Amendment, but while a district court judge dismissed that idea, the appeals court oral arguments are scheduled for Nov. 17 in Denver.
