Silverton Ski Patrol Tests the Mountain

Ski patrollers at Southern Colorado's Silverton Mountain were able to get out and test the slopes a little bit after a storm passed through early this week. While the National Weather Service office in Grand Junction said the snow level dropped to about 10,000 feet at one point, Silverton patrollers stuck above the 13,000-foot mark for their runs Tuesday morning.
