Definitely not the first house to get done up like a tree, this spiffy new-build in Asserbo, Denmark looks exceptionally fabulous in it. Designed by Danish firm Primus Architects features solid oak cladding treated with iron sulfate for extra protection and a weathered look. While the building looks rather dark and impenetrable from the outside, the designers made sure to maximize interior ceiling height and natural light (plenty of horizontal and vertical windows offer forest views and daylight.)
