In our continued quest to determine the appropriateness of every weird method of book storage that people come up with, this United State of America-shaped bookshelf ranks somewhere between this very good bookshelf and this very not good book-fireplace. Which is to say: it's fine. Is it the most efficient way to store books? Certainly not. But at least there's a reason behind it's inefficient shape (the reason being that that is the shape of the United States) unlike some weirdly shaped, inefficient bookshelves we've seen. And, we have to admit, they actually managed to fit a good number of books into the states, and many of them are even removable. So, overall, this is an okay bookshelf.
