In what is probably the most uplifting ex-athlete story we can remember reading, former Pro Bowl NFL running back Warrick Dunn has given 145 homes and counting to single-parent-families through his charity, Warrick Dunn Charities, all with minimal media attention—although that is starting to change. Dunn's charity chooses deserving families through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity affiliates and provides the homes complete with furniture and down-payment assistance.
