China and Germany have been busy terrifying us with their very long bridges over very high canyons that tourists have apparently been flocking to. But it's really a theoretical kind of terror, because (even though the Chinese bridge, which is made of glass, recently cracked when somebody dropped a stainless steel mug on it) because bridges never actually just break from the weight of humans walking across them, right?
Well, almost never. This bridge in New Zealand totally just did (luckily, no one was hurt), but it looks a lot older and flimsier than those new tourist bridges. Those bridges are fine. Almost definitely.
