After a slew of early-season openings, Southern California is joining in on the action with the opening of Bear Mountain and Snow Summit this Friday, November 13. Recent natural snow, cold weather, and excellent snow making conditions all made the early opening possible. According to a press release, "Bear Mountain will be open top-to-bottom, with chairs 9 and 7 spinning. The park crew has been hard at work and will have a top-to-bottom terrain park ready to shred on Friday. At Snow Summit the Miracle Mile and Chair 4 beginner area will be ready to go." Opening day tickets are a steal at $35.
