Architect Jonathan Tate and developer Charles Rutledge have sought out to build small homes on vacant, irregular sized lots in popular neighborhoods, and their first home of this kind in New Orleans' Irish Channel neighb' has hit the market. The 978 square-foot one-bedroom is really narrow but gets some space via high ceilings, a second story and a third loft level. Outside there's a wraparound deck. The home also includes oak floors, built-in storage and lots of shelving.
