The plethora of early-season openings continues and this time the spotlight is on Steamboat Springs. With 41 inches of natural snow so far in November, Steamboat Ski Resort will open the Christie Peak Express chairlift with a special advance weekend on November 21 and 22. This year's early opening marks the first time the ski area has opened early since the 2002/2003 winter. The resort will then reopen for daily operations on Wednesday, November 25.
