Canada's Kicking Horse Resort To Open 2 Weeks Early

Tahoe and Colorado aren't the only benefactors of early-season snow this season; substantial snowfall means that British Columbia's Kicking Horse Mountain Resort will open two weeks early, on November 28. Yesterday, the ski area received almost two feet of snow in 24 hours. "We love El Niño," says Matt Mosteller, Senior VP Marketing & Resort Experience for Kicking Horse parent Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. "In the past week alone we have received a whopping 130cm of new snow. Winter is here!" The ski area will open for two bonus preview weekends on November 28/29 and December 5/6 before opening daily operations on Friday, December 11th. Head over here for more info.
