New York City's High Line sparked a movement, with imitators popping up all over the world. Reclaiming abandoned rail lines makes a certain amount of sense, though—there's something cool and retro about the them—while the same cannot necessary be said for, say, the area under a highway overpass. It is the area under a highway overpass, however, that Toronto plans to make into their version of the High Line, so good luck to them.
