Henry Howard had a huge hand in Louisiana architecture in the 19th Century, from designing grand plantations, Garden District Italianate homes, institutional buildings and everything in between. Earlier this year Princeton Architectural Press and Historic New Orleans Collection released Robert Brantley and Victor McGee's book Henry Howard: Louisiana's Architect, and this week the HNOC opened an exhibition celebrating the legacy of the architect.
