Alabama isn't exactly the ski capital of North America, but this weekend skiers and snowboarders from across the country will converge on Scottsboro to attend the Unclaimed Baggage Center's 34th annual Winter and Ski Event. Doors open on November 7 at 8:00 am, but skiers will likely line up the night before for the right to pilfer through ski equipment lost on vacation.
