We are fast approaching the season where getting out bed is a huge chore, which means that we could all use a kotatsu, which is like a Japanese table-bed. With a flat surface, and blanket curtain, and a heater underneath, the kotatsu allows you to sleep, eat, and go on the computer—the three basic functions of human life—while barely moving at all. Of course, those are the three things you do in your bed anyway, but at least with this thing when you spill food it'll go on a table and not your comforter.
