There's Wi-Fi Built Into the Pavement in This English Town

The man in that picture may look like a diabolical villain with a plot to capture James Bond, but what he's actually doing is displaying the high speed internet that is literally built into the pavement in one street in the English town of Chesham. The so-called Smart Pavement provides anybody in its vicinity with free connection that's seven times faster than the average U.K. broadband speed. A representative for Virgin Media, who is behind the project, says that it's "the UK's first deployment of a WiFi connected pavement."
