Because you can't have a summer home without an enormous, fabulous pool house, an Arkansas family commissioned distinguished local firm Marlon Blackwell Architects to create this 945-square-foot timber-clad beauty that sleeps up to six guests. The two-story guest house is a box-like structure with a Bauhaus-style band of windows along its upper facade and a glazed cutaway section on the lower facade that lets light in and views out to the pool. The simple, but rather nice, interiors include an open-plan first level accommodating a kitchen and dining room, and a mezzanine-like upper floor with six bunk beds arranged along one of the structure's exterior walls and a lounge. Check it out!
