It's not often that new ski areas open in the United States, so the grand opening of a new ski resort in Utah is big news. Although it was initially supposed to open last season, but construction took longer than anticipated and the inaugural season was pushed back. Now, Cherry Peak Resort will finally open today with 5 runs and two chairlifts.
