A German company in its second year of existence rented out around 3,000 Christmas trees in 12 cities this holiday season. Around three quarters, or 2,250 of them, survived the experience, which means that not only did customers save some time and hassle (delivery and pickup service are included) but they saved some trees as well. The company, known as Happy Tree, hopes to expand even further next year, and to increase the rate of trees not dying.
