This imagined idea from Belgian architect Vincent Callebaut makes for, at the very least, the most fun renderings we've seen in...well, ever. Callebaut has cooked up a plan for "an oceanscraper printed in 3D from the seventh continent's garbage," and then floated the concept of an entire city of these underwater garbage towers, named Aequorea, off the coast of Rio de Janeiro. The idea is not actuality designed to be realized (big surprise) but instead is intended to draw attention to the issue of ocean pollution.
