A team of scientists is trying to raise around $270 million to build a new, inhabitable, 400-foot-tall Colossus of Rhodes (the original 98-foot version was destroyed by an earthquake in 226 BCE) and if you, like us, have been wondering exactly what that would look like inside, it turns out there's an animated rendering that shows the internal structure, and goes into a bit of detail about how this one would be a little more earthquake resistant than its predecessor.
