Welcome to the Curbed Cup, a competition where North American ski towns go head-to-head to determine the best ski town of 2015. We'll be running the competition throughout December, but right now, we need your help with nominations. Do you live in a ski town and think it's the perfect blend of powder paradise in the winter and outdoor play in the summer? Are you an avid skier or snowboarder who may live in a flatland state but love traveling to ski towns no matter the season? We want to hear from you.
The contest is similar to a March Madness bracket, with 16 ski towns filling in the slots. To help us figure out who should be in the running, put your nominations in the comments of this post or shoot us an email. A town name isn't enough- we want to hear why you love your nominee, what makes it special, and the town's unique perks you can't find anywhere else. In short, tell us why your favorite ski town should be the winner in 2015.
