As world leaders meet in Paris for this week's climate change negotiations, they are joined by many from the North American ski industry. Powder Magazine is in Paris, so is the athlete-centered group Protect Our Winters, and even the mayor of Aspen made the trip. Mountain Town News writer Allen Best reports that there has been a shift in the dialogue around climate change, away from the doom-and-gloom rhetoric of previous decades and towards new action plans.
