There Might Be $219,000 of Movie Posters Hiding Under Your Floor

New, 2 comments

Robert Basta, a house renovator in Massachusetts, recently uncovered 17 original Hollywood posters from the '20s and '30s under some linoleum. They included a one-of-a-kind 1932 Tarzan poster and ended up selling for $219,000 at auction, in total. Of course, he was never expected to find a treasure trove when he began renovating the house, but do you know who else isn't expecting to find a treasure trove and has floors? All of us. It couldn't hurt just to take a peak...

Basta told NBC that the money will allow him to give up renovating after 38 years and open his own sushi restaurant.
