Never ones to shy away from a clever interior scheme, Taiwanese firm HAO Design, which has previously delivered rad airplane-inspired and uber cat-friendlyresidences, just completed a 430-square-foot apartment boasting flexible spaces and great light. The pad, outfitted in a soothing palette of pinewood and pale green, features an open living, dining, kitchen area, plus an open timber staircase that leads to an airy mezzanine master bedroom and dressing area. The firm also made sure to use all of the space under the mezzanine, squeezing a study area between the bathroom and a more removed sleeping area (currently done up as a tatami room.)
