Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Austin, Texas
Price: Upon request
This contemporary Southwestern home is one of five in a small subdivision in Tarrytown, Austin, created in the late aughts when a couple acquired and subdivided one of the city's last big parcels. Designed by Houston architect Michael Landrum, the 9,943-square-foot dwelling is listed with Gottesman Residential Real Estate, price upon request—Laura Gottesman says the figure is "kind of a moving target"—and can be seen here with decorating by Jeffrey Alan Marks, of Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators.

The five-bedroom sits on a lot just under one acre, with a guest casita and pool, all within short distance of the Tarry House, which a Yelp reviewer describes as "one of the jewels of Austin private clubs." The home was built by Michael Deane Homes, a high-end builder in the area, with plenty of reclaimed materials, including some antique fireplaces, and a beautiful pair of weathered built-ins in the living room. According to Gottesman, being inside "feels like being in a very old house," though this one was finished in 2009.
