Behold, the results of our latest Real Estate Deathmatch.
Our latest Real Estate Deathmatch was a beach cottage show-down in the dunes, pitting Chatham against Vineyard Haven; panoramic views of the Atlantic against a double dose of Vineyard Sound and Lake Tashmoo; cozy against vintage; and a renovated Cape against a rebuilt cottage. Alas, while it wasn't a McMansion-style blowout, there was a clear winner.
Yup, that's Chatham's 43 Dune Drive, an apropos address if there ever was one. To refresh, the 3BR, 2BA sits on .78 waterfront acres just south of the lighthouse. Per the listing, the 2,000-square-footer has "panoramic views" of the Atlantic and comes with direct beach access (obviously, we suppose). The renovated 1950s Cape hit the market this week for $2,900,000 and, according to our completely unscientific poll, members of the Curbediverse would gladly shell out their pretend millions on this beachy spread.
