Location: Los Angeles, California
Having already broken Silver Lake, Los Angeles, sales records back in 2007 when it sold for $3.35M, a 2006 work by architect Barbara Bestor listed last Monday for $4.25M. With six bedrooms, seven baths, a gorgeous wood-paneled library, and an "enormous state of the art kitchen," the boxy hillside dwelling is claimed to be one of the largest homes in the neighborhood, encompassing 7,256 square feet, with large outdoor living spaces as well.
When the home appeared on Curbed LA, commenters left such remarks as "Saunarchitecture" and "Must Like Wood." A few are convinced it won't stay on the market more than two or three weeks.
