A Fake Ikea Catalog Where Everything is Made of Cardboard

New, 1 comment

French artist-prankster Benedetto Bufalino, who previously transformed an entire apartment into a tennis court, now brings us a "fake" Ikea catalog, in which every product is recreated at 1:1 scale and cobbled together with cardboard. While real Ikea catalogs are filled with computer-generated images, everything in this "fake" catalog actually existed in real life. So in a sense, maybe this parody version is more real.

To produce these pages, Bufalino launched workshops where he'd invite the public to help make whatever they can. "A cardboard book for the less agile, a sofa for the brave," he writes on his Facebook page.
