Lodges in Western U.S. ski resort communities are looking at a record-breaking season this winter. According to DestiMetrics, a Denver-based number-crunching firm that surveys property management companies in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, California and Oregonm occupancy is up 8.7% and revenues are up 14% over the 2013-2014 season. These numbers are impressive given the mediocre snowpack in most of the west. [The Denver Post]
