America's refreshingly uncomplicated Adonis of a cool older cousin Channing Tatum has purchased a five-bedroom home in Beverly Hills, according to Variety, paying $6M for a large Cape Cod-style dwelling. Tatum picked it up via a trust from filmmaker Roberto Sneider, who acquired it in April 2011 for $4,425,000.
The new chez Tatum, which Curbed LA thinks is pretty dull, features a nearly 45-foot long living/dining area with double-height ceiling, an all-white kitchen with custom tile floors, and a free-form pool and spa. Last year, the actor confessed to GQ he likes "confetti cake," beer and bourbon a little too much, so much so that he's "fappy" (fat and happy). Guess Tatum now has a three story, 4,853-square-feet space to be, um, fappy in.
Tatum's new neighbors include Demi More and Harry Styles. He and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum also own a secluded home in L.A.'s Laurel Canyon, purchased in 2008 for $2.6M.
