A Texas developer has dropped plans to spend $215 million building an indoor ski resort and Hard Rock Hotel to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The proposed 350,000-square-foot facility was going to have loads of shops, a movie theater, and at least two restaurants, but now that's a no-go. According to the developer, "terms and conditions regarding location costs" could not be reached. [The Dallas Morning News]
