Antiques dealer Lee Stanton's condo in West Hollywood's Sierra Towers has floor-to-ceiling glass walls and, naturally, a lot of antiques. Featured in this month's Elle Decor, Stanton's apartment—which once belonged to Lindsay Lohan, but is now doing fine, thanks (really, it's fine)—is filled with his most prized posessions. "I wanted to utilize the contemporary backdrop of a high rise building with plate glass windows for my art and antique collection spanning 3 centuries and a lifetime of buying trips around the world," writes Stanton on his blog.
From his shop, Lee Stanton Antiques, is a circa-1790s marble-top table, 1810 Swedish stools, and a 1920s Italian desk (all ↑). The living room also features a wool-upholstered custom sofa by Rose Tarlow Melrose House, a 1970s light fixture by Robert Sonneman, and a rug by Los Angeles-based designer Kerry Joyce. The dining room (↓) has charcoal-colored cabinets, and French pendant lights and chairs from the 1890s.
The guest room (←) sports a French table, an illustration from the early 1900s, and a circa-1810 Italian bookcase. The nifty wall mural in the master bedroom (→) is by Tamara Codor.
Good to see Lindsay Lohan's old apartment is doing so well!
