Ski Train

Amtrak and Colorado's Winter Park are reviving the Ski Train with a one-day round-trip between Denver's Union Station and the Grand County ski area. The one-time ride will occur on March 14 to celebrate Winter Park's 75th anniversary and will host around 400 passengers at $75 per person. The Ski Train began operating in 1940 and ran through 2009 before the train shut down due to rising costs and declining profits. More info, here. [Denver Post]
