Immense 1908 Arts & Crafts Estate in Pasadena Asks $4.25MM

New, 1 comment

This is the 1908 mansion of iron tycoon Lewis J. Merritt, designed by architect William F. Thompson, and given a full restoration in the last five years or so, according to material from the Gamble House. The stately Arts and Crafts abode now includes five rebuilt bathrooms, a modernized kitchen, six bedrooms, giant gathering spaces, covered terraces, outdoor dining areas, a library, a pool room, and a printing studio (there are even trays for your printing press letters!), all in 8,909 square feet.

Curbed LA has the tour. >>
