Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Hidden Meadows, California
Price: $469,900
A very cute early '70s home designed by architect Fred Blecksmith is for sale in Hidden Meadows, California, just north of Escondido. In nearly every room, large panes of glass offer views of a romantically (in the literary sense) overgrown lot wedged between boulders and shaded by oak trees, including the master bedroom, a wood-paneled viewing box perched atop a large rock.

Tall jalousie windows in the dining room, office, and one of the three bathrooms offer a quick way to let in a breeze. One bedroom currently used as a studio (look for the daybed and waist-high gray paint) sports a wall of modern built-ins. The other one is on the lower level (find the white cinderblock wall and electric-blue cello), and has its own separate entrance and bathroom.

There's a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, which offers direct access to the front deck. Another outdoor option is the shaded siting area off the dining room. Last sold in 2010 for $435,000, the 1,716-square-foot dwelling is back on the market with new coats of paint, a new roof, and a new water heater for $469,900.
