This Guy's Transforming Picnic Table Approaches Pure Sorcery

Everything transforms these days. A prefab cube opens up into a livable "apartment. "Books" fan out into stools and nightstands. And now, Izzy Swan, a retired furniture shop owner in Charleston, South Carolina, has crafted this intricately-packed stack of wood that metamorphosizes into a functional picnic the most bewitching way possible.

Swan, who's actually selling plans for the transforming picnic table on his website for $10, also created a snazzy table that closes right into a briefcase. He claims it's "the world's fastest folding table":
