Several times a year, the Design Industries Foundation Fight AIDS (DIFFA) hosts its marquee fundraising event "Dining by Design," inviting design-minded folks from various fields to come up with awe-inspiring dining installations. This year's New York City event, which is running alongside Architectural Digest's annual Home Design Show, features 50 stunning "tablescapes" spread over 30,000 square foot, with styles ranging the the posh and extravagant to the minimalist and modern, plus healthy doses of the wild and whimsical. The show officially opened to the public yesterday and here are some of the best shots from it so far.
