Stunner on Wellfleet's Griffin Island Returns, Still Wants $4.75M

New, 1 comment

The timber frame stunner on Wellfleet's Griffin Island is back. We first wrote about the five acre property in September 2014, shortly after the waterfront spread "set in the privacy of the National Seashore" debuted on the market as the second priciest listing in town. To refresh, the 3BR, 3BA was built in 1990 and designed by the architect owner as a "super insulated," year-round home. In addition to the 2,197-square-foot main residence, there's a new(ish) two story guest cottage, private stairs to a "pristine beach," and views galore of Great Island, Cape Cod Bay and Provincetown. The Outer Cape beachfront abode was taken off the market in December, but has returned with updated listing photos and still asking $4,750,000. Alas, anyone wishing to see the place in person will have to wait for Snowpocalypse to cease since the house "will not be shown until weather appropriate."
