Kicking off the week with a mixed-user by way of Provincetown. We first wrote about this East End beach house known as the "Pequod" in August 2013 when the 5BR, 2BA on Provincetown Harbor was asking $1,500,000. Back then, the listing was a run-down of the seasonal property's myriad of problems (there was mention of the flood zone, a cesspool and the like). The latest brokerbabble puts a more positive spin on 509 Commercial Street's "potential galore," but the 1,584-square-footer remains a serious fixer-upper, albeit one with some gorgeous views, tandem parking for three, a sandy beach "even at high tide!!" and first floor commercial space. The 2015 asking price for the 1860s post-and-beam is $1,200,000.
