Jay Peak has received more snow than any other resort in the continental United States. In a testament to how bad of a snow year it has been, Jay Peak's 357 inches as of Monday are still below the resort's own yearly average of 380 inches. Other places in Vermont fared better still: Mount Snow had its best year in more than a decade, Q Burke Mountain Resort had its best season in three years. Stratton's February total far outpaced previous seasons and Killington plans on skiing into June. [Burlington Free Press]
