Renzo Piano's design for the new Downtown New York Whitney Museum has set the architecture world abuzz, which is a shame because it's stealing the spotlight from another fantastic new museum, Matt and Viviana's Tonya Harding & Nancy Kerrigan 1994 Museum, operating (as of last Saturday) out of a hallway in Matt Harkins' and Vivianna Olen's Williamsburg apartment. For more information about the museum, just watch the above video—the name is pretty self explanatory, but we'd recommend it anyway. This proves once and for all that you don't need a bunch of fancy expensive architecture to make a great museum.
