The Sufism Reoriented center near Walnut Creek, California is undergoing major construction with a new design from Alan Ritchie of Philip Johnson Alan Ritchie Architects, inspired by Johnson's Dumberton Oaks Pavilion in Washington, D.C. The design looks like something, though we can't quite put out finger on it... Oh, that's it—it looks like boobs. Specifically, a ring of one dozen boobs of various sizes surrounding four individual nipples surrounding one giant boob. The original Philip Johnson Pavilion, to be fair, also kind of looks like boobs, but at least no has made the mistake of photographing or rendering it from directly above.
