Say what you will about Lynchian taste decorating moves—retro wood panelling! heavy drapes! blue velvet!—teenage ghosts would have a hard time haunting its current iteration. The sellers, intent on driving away the supernatural and demonic spirits that plagued the Palmer family, relied on a far more effective arsenal: storm windows, stock paintings, and scented candles.
